Professor of Medicine and Director, Behavioral Medicine Program Institute of Human Virology of The University of Maryland School of Medicine. Leader in groundbreaking research on emotions and health.
Dr.Temoshok has studied Type C (emotionally inexpressive) coping style in medical contexts. She has recently extended her work to study forgiveness in people living with HIV and AIDS. Her work examines the largest collection of biological markers associated with forgiveness in any existing study. She is articularly interested in the effects of forgiving or not forgiving on the functioning of the immune system. Read more
